The Old Rectory Hotel is indeed a peaceful and leafy oasis at the heart of the North West.  This delightful ivy-clad building, which dates back to 1867, has recently been refurbished throughout and now offers the highest level of comfort and every modern facility.  Yet it has not lost any of its elegant Victorian charm and appeal.  The Old Rectory’s secluded garden with fountain offers the ideal location in the vicinity to celebrate your Wedding Day.

The Wesley Room

The Wesley Room is a highly popular venue boasting traditional décor.  Ideal for a reception for up to 85.  Patio doors pen onto our terraced garden and fountain.  A perfect setting for all your wedding photographs.  The room is self contained and has its own bar and dancefloor.

The Wesley Room can hold up to 80 guests for an evening reception and 180 guests when combined with the dining room.

The minimum catering numbers to combine the Wesley Suite and the Priory Restaurant is 120.

Priory Restaurant

For those intimate Weddings we are delighted to offer our Priory Restaurant, which has magnificent views down the rear garden.

Seating up to 50.  A room full of character and charm.

Civil Wedding

The Old Rectory is now licensed for The Civil Wedding Ceremony.  If a
church Ceremony is not what you are looking for, The Old Rectory Hotel is the perfect venue for all your Wedding Celebrations.

The Wesley Suite is ideal for your Wedding ceremony, with the beautiful
décor of the room overlooking the courtyard fountain and gardens.
